On St. Patricks day I filmed a "Day in The Life" for my friend Steve Watson. Out of all the friends that I have whom I could have done a 'Day in The Life' of, I must say I'm glad I chose Steve. Steve is one of the most out going people I know, and he has one of the greatest personalities ever. He's also really earth conscious, and I've never seen this dude liter once. Not only that, but he's a certified shredder. Fun to film with, fun to skate with, and overall he's just a fun dude to be around. We filmed all of this in the course of a day, starting at his house, and then eventually ending up at his work later on where he cashed his paycheck. It was difficult to sum a whole day up into just 15 minutes, but I tried as best I could. I hope you guys enjoy. Here's the link.

I made another edit from Hesh Dubz (formerly known as Zero Gravity) last night. Premiere Pro is my new best friend.

I've been going out and filming a lot lately, and the more I film, the more I feel like I could come out with a full length video by the end of the year. I think that the possibility of this happening is very likely. Me and a couple others went to the new ledge spot in downtown this past weekend, and Ethan put down one of the sickest lines I've ever filmed. I also got a clip of Luke Hunter that I'm stoked on.

Hopefully in a few weeks I'll have a little promo made for the video, but that's still up in the air.

Haven't updated this thing in over a week. Been super busy doing the college thing and all that other fun shit. Plus, the weather's starting to warm up, which hopefully means that winter's almost over.

Brennen sent me a picture of a spot last night that he thought looked to be pretty sick. Little does he know the ground there is equal to the roughness of sandpaper, and the chunkiness of a gravel road. Car not included.

Made this last night of a pretty sick session that went down this past Thursday at Skate Naked in Columbus. Hammers were thrown, Waka Flocka was being blasted out of the speakers, and all the dudes there were shredding the gnar to the 10th power. Overall it was a successful trip, besides not getting home until about 3:30 in the morning. I might also add that N.W.A. is the shit, incase you didn't already know that.

I can't believe it's already February. I suppose that that's a good and a bad thing. When I was at work the other day I heard some guy say that if the groundhog see's his shadow this year he's going to take his gun and shoot it. I don't blame him either.

I've been going over to Zero Gravity (Hesh Dubz) a lot recently, and it's basically all we have around here in terms of an indoor skatepark, unless you want to drive 2 hours to Canton. Here's a little montage I threw together last night. I think it's safe to say that Ethan's ready for summer.

The Hell Nah dude's are always up to something, whether it be slamming beers, or bombing a hill, there's never a dull moment with them.

For all of you who don't already know by now, the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to the superbowl. Dallas here we come!

Went to Zero Gravity yesterday with Trevor, and had a pretty fun sesh. Hopefully there will be a montage up soon from that. When it's -2 degrees outside not including the wind chill, it's hard to get a sesh going, especially when your park looks like this.

This gives me just another reason as to why I'm going to major in media production. Thanks Ty for the motivation.

Look who's going to the AFC championship game.

Ty Evans and Atiba Jefferson are always up to something, whether it's condensing a 2 week tour into 10 minutes of footage and making a sick ass edit, or just showing you how amazing skateboarding can look when it's filmed with HD cameras. Either way, these guys know what they're doing. Check this out if you want to see some high quality, gnarly skateboarding from the likes of Koston, MJ, Mo, and a bunch of other dudes.

Back in November, me, Tyler Beihl, Ethan Davis, and Ryan George took a little trip out to the 614 (Columbus), and played with our useless wooden toys (skateboards). Here's what went down, (most of it anyway) when we went to Skate Naked, (no, we weren't skateboarding naked). I hope that's enough parentheses for you guys.

Overall I have to say that this past weekend was definitely a success. The ugly sweater party went pretty well. I brought my Girl Talk cd to the party, and everyone was vibing off of it. I wish I wouldn't have forgot it there though... Party foul #13.

I went up to Robinson yesterday, and blew a bunch of money that I don't have. At least I got all of my Christmas shopping done. Only 3 more days!

I posted some footage last night of a sesh we had over the summer at the mini ramp in Weirton. I'm not really too sure why I never got around to posting it sooner. Sorry for the wait guys.

Don't ask me how we did it, but we won Sunday against Baltimore. Things weren't looking too good in the first half of the game, and even in the 4th quarter, I didn't think we'd be able to win, but somehow, someway, we ended up getting a touchdown and came out on top 13 - 10. We play the big bad Bengals this Sunday.

Hope yinz had a great Thanksgiving.

I think I have the power to predict what happens in the future, because we won yesterday, 19 to 16. Baltimore here we come!

The VX-2K has been working out just fine for me. Everything looks really crisp and clean. So far I've been filming a lot with it ever since I got it in the mail. Once I get a new editing software I'd like to make a VX-2K montage.

If you're planning on building a fire anytime soon at the park from now on, forget about it. The Wheeling Fire Dept. came to the skatepark last night, and put ours out. Yes, a firetruck drove all the way to Elm Grove to put out a small ass fire that was barely keeping us warm anyway in the 30 degrees weather. The fire Marshall told us that the brush and twigs surrounding the fire could possibly catch and get out of control. Thats funny, because it took us about an hour just to get the fire started in the first place, because all the wood was damp. I guess they wanted us to freeze.

The Oakland Raiders didn't stand a chance yesterday against our boys from Pittsburgh, the final being 35-3. We play the Buffalo Bills next weekend, and seeing as how they're 2-8, I don't think we should have any problem beating them.

This past weekend was pretty fun. I love not having to see the letters I.G.A. in front of me for every minute of my free time. If you didn't go out and skate yesterday, you blew it big time.

Sorry for not updating this thing all that much lately, I've been busy with a bunch of shit. Vegas has officially let me down, so now I need to find a new editing software before I can make any more videos.

The VX came in though finally, along with a nice MK 1 lens, and a light attachment, which should make for some crisp, quality looking footage.

We won this past Monday by the way, in case you didn't know. Tomorrow, we play against Tom Brady and his fellow Patriots. It's pretty bad when a team that was at the Super Bowl for three consecutive years, and who holds the record for having the longest winning streak consisting of regular season and playoff games in NFL history, loses to the Browns. Sounds like somebody needs a hug.

It wasn't a very "Happy Halloween" this past Sunday for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who lost agains the New Orleans Saints, 20-10. In my opinion there's only two things from New Orleans that are worth mentioning. That is, Lil' Wayne, and Mardi Gras. That's about all I can think of. I work with a few people whom are fans of the Bengals, and I'm looking forward to seeing the expressions on their faces when they lose next Monday to Pittsburgh.

Overall this past weekend was pretty fun though. I hope all of you got to come out to the Tricks For Treats event at the skatepark Friday night. It was honestly one of the funnest times I've ever had there. Props to DeFelice in Bethlehem for supplying the free pizza, and thank you to Little Caesars on National Road for coming through when I needed 6 pizzas to feed all the homies at the park. Thanks guys!

After several failed attempts at trying to put together a sponsor me video for Max Caldwell, I ended up just giving him all my footage, and he edited one himself. You can watch that, here.

Hey all! Sorry for the short leave of absence. I just recently got back home from beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. If you're ever down that way make sure to hit up my older brother. But as for the skate scene down there, I don't think they have one. The only 'skaters' I encountered down there were on long boards, and if you're trying to go to a skatepark down there, you're gonna have to pay money, and you've gotta wear full pads, plus a helmet. Pretty lame is you ask me, but whatever.

Austin Kanfoush has been getting a lot of coverage lately, which is tight. Keep the footage comin' brotha!

I'm in the midst of making a tour montage for the Wheelin' Pitt dudes. Hopefully it'll be done by mid-week next week. Shaka bra.

Went and skated the somewhat "new" bump spot in front of the Subway on National Road in Woodsdale the other day with Tyler Beihl, Ryan George, Keith Chambers, and ED. We managed to get a good hour and half long session in, before this state trooper dude rolled up. But, the funny thing is, is that he stopped traffic along the road, so that we could skate it. I thought for sure that he was going to kick us out as soon as he rolled up, but he was actually super cool about the whole situation, and let Ethan get his trick. A video will be up soon of that on my YouTube page.

I also went to the 69 spot last night, and got a couple good keeper lines with John Wendt, Jake, and Brennan.

Tyler Fader was talking to me last night on FaceBook, about how me and him should dedicate a day a week from now on to either non-stop filming, or editing, and I'm down for the idea. We goin' hard on these streets!

Hello all. I recently just got back from the Outer Banks with my dad, which is why I haven't been making any posts, and is also the reason why I haven't started working on the montage yet. I had a great time though. On our way back home, my dad and I somehow ended up in Tennessee. Don't ask me how that happened, because quite frankly I'm not too sure. But, we eventually made it home, which is all that matters. I'll post some clips of the park I skated while I was down there soon hopefully.

While I was down there, I got to skate with the local dudes, and they showed me this really sick backyard ramp in this kids yard. Varlas got a picture of me front slashing the coping on the vert, which I'm stoked on.

The dudes at this shop are for sure holding down the OBX skate scene.

Recently, a new shop opened in Elm Grove right where The Spot used to be located. The dude who runs it is this Marc guy, and he's super cool. Go in there, buy some shit, and support your local shop, dawg! It's about time Wheeling gets a new local skateshop.

Wow, March went by really fast. It seems like just the other day it was still snowing and we were in February.

Well, since WVU's out of the Final Four, I, and I don't think anyone I know really could give a shit who wins. Go Duke?

I hope you all had a good Easter though. I know I did. I wasn't too sure if I'd get an Easter basket this year or not, but I did, so I thought that was pretty cool. I don't think you could ever get to be too old to still enjoy the holidays. It's good to remain somewhat youthful sometimes.

Dave Coyne came into town for the weekend, and we got a couple tricks on film. Currently, we're in the midst of planning a film day, where all we do is meet up, skate, and get footage. Hopefully that'll happen soon.

Other than working and going to school, I've been trying my best to get some footage, and it's actually been turning out pretty good. I'm hoping that by the end of the year I'll have enough footy from everyone to come out with a full length video, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Do you remember that post I had made a while back, about Tyler Fader getting severely injured in that car wreck, and his car getting completely totaled? Well, it almost happened again. Luckily this time, it was the car that suffered the most, instead of Fader.

Wow, I really haven't been updating this thing as much lately, and that's entirely my fault. The weather we've been having lately has been phenomenal, and so I've been out skating and filming a lot with the homies.

Louie, Jared, and Tyler are all at the beach right now, sippin' on syrup, and sending me pictures of the .

I'm serious about coming out with a full length video either by the end of this year, or by next year, so hype that shit up.

February is finally over. It seemed like just the other day it was still 2009, and we're already two months into 2010. It's weird how that works.

I recently downloaded Sony Vegas 9.0, but I soon after came to grips with the fact that it's just the trial version, and that I need to find a crack or serial number to get the program. I'm bummed.

The 2010 winter olympics are over as well, and the hockey game that everyone was anticipating resulted in the Canadians beating the Americans, 3-2. You guys can have your hockey Canada. I think us Americans are pretty content with the 37 total medals we won during the games.

If March comes in like a lion, it'll go out like a lamb. We can only hope.

It's our 100th post here at OV Skate!!! Wow, that's amazing... Not really.

Today's my brother Adam's birthday, so if you're in the Charleston, South Carolina area, and you see him make sure to wish him a happy birthday. Miss you man.

Haven't been skating a whole lot as of late, because of the recent winter storm we got pounded with. It looks like we've got more snow coming too. :/ I just want winter to be over already.

Last week I uploaded a new montage to my YouTube of the dudes skating Zero Gravity. So, yes, my camera is finally fixed. It's hard to believe, I know, but it's working now. And in a few days I will have finished making yet another montage hopefully, of yet another trip we took to Zero Gravity about a week or so ago. SFBSTS??!!

School is consuming me, and every time I go to work, I feel like I could be doing something so much more productive with my time. If someone out there just so happens to have a lot of money that they for some odd reason don't want, feel free to give it to me. That way I could quit my job, pay off all of my school, and buy a new camera. :]]

Hope everybody had a nice new years, I know I did. All I did was go over to my girlfriends house and spent some time with her and her family, but it was pretty fun actually.

I'm 19 now.

My camera still hasn't been delivered back to me yet, and I'm starting to get kind of worried. :[

If you ever get bored, you should seriously go on Crailtaps website sometime. They have a lot of entertaining links, videos, photos, and just about anything else you'd ever want to have to keep yourself occupied, when there's 4 feet of snow on the ground outside.

It's been about 2 weeks now since that kid broke my camera, and I'm still bummed about it. Hopefully Sony sent it out to me by now. I miss being able to film. :'[

I recently put together a little montage though recently, with some footage I had from a month or so ago of everyone skating the new obstacle at the park. If you like Gillie Da Kid, then you'll probably like this montage.

My birthday is this Saturday, and I'll probably have my party at Greco's, just like I did last year. I can't believe I'm turning 19. I feel like an old piece of shit.

It's been about three weeks since I last updated this thing. It's a hard thing to come to grips with, but this site is basically dead. Unless I start posting more entries, and making the posts more interesting, no one will ever look at this shit again. I guess I've just been really busy lately... And yes, that's always my excuse but it's true.

For those of you who don't know, my camera is currently out of commission due to some random kid's board smacking it this past weekend at Treasure Island. He was trying to frontside boardslide up this box, he messed up, and then he got pissed for some reason so he decided to slam his board off the ground. It just so happened that he slammed it so hard off of the ground, that it in turn bounced off the ground, going my direction, and it somehow managed to hit the LCD screen attached to the side of my camera just hard enough to cause it to break. Talk about a freak accident. Yeah, I was pissed about it, but it's all good. UPS just dropped off an empty box on my front porch so that I can send my camera to Sony, and they'll repair it for me, at no cost at all. If you ever decide to purchase a video camera, or any camera of some sort, and if they happen to offer a 2 year insurance plan with the camera, I'd purchase it if I were you. There's a lot of idiots out there who don't really give a whole lot of thought into things they do before they do it.

Christmas is one week from today, and i'm basically all set for it. Hopefully all of you out there got most of your shopping pretty much done too.

Sorry that it's been a little while since I've updated this thing, ever since school let out for winter break, I haven't really felt like doing much of anything. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving though. Mine would've been perfect had my girlfriend not rolled her car, and had to go to the emergency room, (she's alright by the way), but other than that, everything else went really well.

Hunting season started yesterday, so if you plan to skate your mini ramp out in your backyard anytime soon, make sure to be wearing some orange.

I haven't really been able to go out and get a lot of footage lately either, due to the fact that I've been working non-stop lately. I could use the money, but at the same time I also take into consideration that it's already December, and the trips that we'll be taking to indoor parks will most likely be few and far between. Let's hope for the best.

When searching for random videos on YouTube, sometimes you'll encounter some that are actually pretty cool, and worth watching. Dave England, and the 'Magic Pencil'

I've been updating this thing a lot less lately, but I have good reasons for that. When you're in college, and have a job at the same time, it gets a little hard sometimes to keep your blog up to date, and post new entries all the time. Forgive me for not keeping this blog alive. My winter break is coming up shortly, so expect more entries and posts when that happens.

In case you haven't heard about it yet, Tyler Fader and a few others were in a terrible car crash recently. They're all alright, but Faders car wasn't quite so fortunate.

Wow, it's been a while since I've updated this thing. I've been caught up in school, working, and most importantly trying to skate and film as much as possible before winter officially hits.

I haven't put out anything new recently, but lately Kyle and Trevor have been staying at my house working on putting stuff together. Kyle made a little montage of himself not too long ago, and it's pretty good.

Last night I stayed up til about 2:30 just trying to organize the files on my external. That gives you an idea of how many clips I've compiled of people, in just the past year.

Well, I just finished putting together the footage from when the M1 dudes came to Zero Gravity, and so that should be up on the Tube in an hour or so. I'm about to start on the Wheeling one now also.

Other than going through footage, I want to try to sort through some photos on my computer soon, and start up another photo blog, like the one I had last year. Hopefully this can happen soon.

As you may already know, the Murder One Tour is officially over. It ended about a couple weeks ago actually, but I was in Nags Head for the past 10 days, so I'm not sure (pictures will be up soon from that trip). But watch the video below that Luke made. It's pretty magical.

Sorry for not posting lately, I've been busy skating, filming, and working. But if you haven't already heard the M1 tour is officially over. From what I hear everything went well, and I'm sure there's plenty of documentation of the tour. Be on the lookout for the Murder One Magical Mystery tour video to be coming out soon...either online, or to DVD.

I'll be leaving in about 5 hours though with my dad for North Carolina for a week, so I won't be having any access to a computer and or internet. I'm going to try my hardest to survive. Keep yourself occupied by going here. Or here.

The MurderOne guys skated the Dehli skatepark in Cincinatti today. If you were able to see them and chill with them, congrats. I know it's been a minute since I last updated this thing, but lately, I've been really busy with my job, the fact that i'm out of high school and making my plans for the future, and filming, of course.

The other day me and the boys went up to Follansbee, which was a lot of fun. Kyle, Beihl, Ethan, and Little Dave all killed it. There will be footy from that day up on the Tube here soon.

Went to Penn Hills today with Kyle, Zac, Trevor and Steve, and almost met, Kerry Getz, Mike Maldonado, Pete Eldridge, Kevin Taylor, and a couple other people, but ended up arriving at the skatepark a couple hours later than originally planned. It's been weird not going anywhere for the last couple days. I guess that's what happens though, when you sprain your foot. :X The doctor told me I didn't fracture it or anything, but that I should stay off it for about a week or so. Does this mean I can't skate for a couple weeks now? I hope not.

In other news, I drove Kyle to Barnesville yesterday after church, on a fucked up foot. At least he got to see his mom, who just so happens to be one of the nicest ladies I've ever met.

That's all I got for now, honestly. Hopefully there will be more to come by the end of the week.
